WHO reports that malaria cases increased again in 2023, with African children hardest hit

According to a new report from the World Health Organisation, there were about 11 million more malaria cases in 2023 than in 2022, reaching an estimated 263 million. This marked another year of little progress in the fight against this perennial killer.
