Deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon fell 30% in February
Deforestation in Brazil’s Amazon rainforest fell 30 per cent in February from a year earlier, government data showed Friday, as President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s government worked to fulfil a pledge to end illegal logging by 2030.
