Director Gaspar Noe has been highly critical of Marvel Studios movies, calling the comics stupid and speculating on whether they make American audiences stupid. This isn’t the first time directors have criticized Marvel Studios movies. Martin Scorsese also spoke negatively about the movies based on the comics.
