Djokovic says he ran out of fuel in Monte Carlo loss

Novak Djokovic said he felt exhausted towards the end of his loss to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters, admitting defeat was almost inevitable before the final set. Playing his fourth match of the season, Djokovic suffered nine service aces and committed 51 unforced errors in a 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-1 loss.
