The worldwide box office of Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi film “Dune 2” has nearly reached $700 million – at the time of publication, the film has grossed $695.8 million. The first film, “Dune” grossed $433 million. Of that amount, $276 million came from the U.S. and $419 million from overseas distribution.
