Earthquake shakes Kazakhstan’s largest city
An earthquake struck Kazakhstan’s largest city Almaty on Monday, causing dozens of people to rush to safety outside at the sound of sirens. The earthquake with a magnitude of about 5 in Almaty was also felt in Bishkek, the capital of neighbouring Kyrgyzstan, according to Kazakhstan’s Emergencies Ministry.
