Elton John and Angelina Jolie films on London Film Festival line-up

From a documentary about Elton John to Angelina Jolie’s Maria Callas biopic, the BFI London Film Festival promises a star-studded programme that kicks off with a World War II drama from Steve McQueen. The English director will open the festival with the world premiere of his film ‘Blitz’ on 9 October.
