Elton John and Bernie Topin to receive the Library of Congress Gershwin Award
Elton John and Bernie Topin will receive the Library of Congress’ Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, an annual award for influence and achievement in popular music. The songwriting duo will be honoured at a tribute concert on 20 March, and the event will be broadcast on PBS stations beginning 8 April.
