Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has vowed to continue rescue and recovery efforts more than a week after a massive earthquake hit his country and neighboring Syria. The total death toll in Turkey and Syria has topped 41,000, with many survivors surviving near-freezing winter temperatures, left homeless by destruction in cities in both countries.
