Apple asked a federal judge to dismiss the US Justice Department’s case accusing the technology company of illegally dominating the smartphone market. The judge is scheduled to hear arguments from Apple lawyers and prosecutors who say the company keeps out competition by limiting interoperability between the iPhone and third-party apps and devices.
