Austin Butler will star in Luca Guadagnino’s new take on ‘American Psycho’ for Lionsgate. While there were rumours that Jacob Elordi was in the running to play Patrick Bateman, that choice did not materialise.  The film, scripted by Scott Z. Burns, will not be a remake of the 2000 film, but a new adaptation of Ellis’ novel.
