Bentancur suspended for seven games for racist comment about Son

Tottenham Hotspur’s Rodrigo Bentancur has been suspended for seven matches after the Uruguayan made a racist comment about South Korean people when talking about team-mate Son Heung-min during a television appearance. Bentancur had denied the accusation, but an independent regulatory commission found it to be proven and imposed the sanctions, which include a £100,000 fine.
