Flood damage in Romania’s Galati county amounts to $13.9 million
Recent floods in the eastern Romanian county of Galati caused 62.2 million lei ($13.90 million) worth of damage according to a preliminary estimate, local council chairman Costel Fotea said. More than 40 bridges and 20 roads in the county have been affected for a total length of 77.6 kilometres.
