At least two beaver cubs were born in an urban area of London, in a moment seen by conservationists as proof that humans and the furry creatures can live together. In October 2023, the Ealing Beaver Project released a family of five beavers into Paradise Fields, a woodland, wetland and grassland conservation site in west London.
