Genoa have appointed Patrick Vieira as their new coach, the Serie A club said. The Frenchman has been out of work since leaving French club Strasbourg in July, having previously managed Premier League club Crystal Palace. Genoa sacked coach Alberto Gilardino on Tuesday.
