The Grierson Trust has announced the shortlist for the British Documentary Awards in the categories of pop culture, sport, current affairs and music. The BBC tops the list with 28 nominations, Channel 4 is close behind with 23, Netflix with 17, Sky Documentaries with eight and National Geographic with four.
