The sequel to ‘Gladiator’ received an ‘adult’ rating. This is reported by Comic Book with reference to the rating agency MPAA. The decision was made in view of the brutal and bloody scenes of violence. However, the forthcoming film by Ridley Scott will hardly surprise fans of the original, which in its time was also famous for such moments at gladiatorial fights.
