Britain’s health regulator said on Wednesday it has granted approval to Pfizer and BioNTech’s updated COVID-19 vaccine targeting the JN.1 subspecies for use in infants, children and adults. The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said it approved four forms of the adapted Comirnaty JN.1 vaccine after reviewing its safety, quality and efficacy.
