EU asks Apple to end geo-blocking on services like the App Store
The EU has asked Apple to end geo-blocking, the practice of restricting content based on a user’s geographic location, in services such as the App Store, Apple Arcade, Music, iTunes Store, Books and Podcasts. The European Commission threatened enforcement action by national regulators if Apple did not resolve its problems.
