The European Parliament voted to pass a flagship EU law on nature restoration on Wednesday, rescuing a controversial environmental policy after farmers’ protests provoked a last-minute backlash against it. EU lawmakers passed the law with 329 votes in favour, 275 against and 24 abstentions.
