Britain’s Dan Evans beat Russia’s Karen Khachanov 6-7(6), 7-6(2), 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-4 on Tuesday in the longest match in U.S. Open professional tennis history and reached the second round after an incredible fightback, trailing by four games in the final set.
