FAA has approved SpaceX for second Starship Super Heavy launch
The US Federal Aviation Administration on Wednesday granted Ilon Musk’s SpaceX a licence to launch the second test flight of the company’s next-generation Starship and heavy-lift rocket from Texas, the agency said. SpaceX said it plans to launch on Friday, saying the two-hour launch window opens at 7 a.m. Central Time (1 p.m. GMT) and that residents “may hear a loud noise” as the rocket rises into space.
