FDA approves Johnson & Johnson device for heart disease
The US FDA has approved J&J’s device for a type of condition that causes abnormal heart rhythms, the company said. The device, Varipulse, is a pulsed field ablation system that uses small burns or freezes to cause some scarring inside the heart to help break up the electrical signals that cause irregular heartbeats.
