Finland’s data protection regulator said it has lifted a temporary ban on Russian technology group Yandex and Dutch partner Ridetech from transferring the personal data of Yandex’s Yango ride customers to Russia. The emergency ban was announced in August in response to Russian legislation that Finland believed gave the Russian Federal Security Service the right to obtain data from Finnish users processed in taxi operations.
