Floating weir in Bosnian river threatens health and tourism
The tonnes of floating rubbish in the Drina River, mostly plastic bottles, are a threat to the local tourism-based economy and there are also fears about the impact on people’s health when they are eventually burned. The Drina flows through Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia.
