Former United States goalkeeper Hope Solo has pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and said she is “slowly recovering” after receiving care at an inpatient alcohol treatment program. Solo was found passed out behind the wheel of her car in a parking lot in North Carolina and charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and misdemeanor child abuse.
