American director Francis Ford Coppola received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Coppola’s wife Eleanor, sister Talia Shire, son Roman, granddaughter Gia, as well as actress Elle Fanning, and other celebrities, attended the solemn ceremony of placing a sign with the name of the 82-year-old filmmaker.
