French left-wing party plans law to scrap Macron’s pension reforms
France’s left-wing France Unbowed (LFI) party will take legislative action to scrap President Emmanuel Macron’s pension changes and reverse the increase in the legal retirement age from 62 to 64. Overturning the reform, which aims to protect state finances and boost productivity, is one of the French left’s main projects.
