The Friedkin Group is in advanced talks to acquire Everton. Chairman Dan Friedkin had reached an agreement in principle to buy the 94% stake from current owner Moshiri in June. Sources now suggest that a deal with the Friedkin Group could be ‘close’, but there has been no official announcement.
