Google to pay $350m to settle shareholder data privacy lawsuit
Google has agreed to pay $350 million to settle a shareholder lawsuit related to a security bug on its now-defunct social network Google+. The tentative agreement was filed late Monday night in federal court in San Francisco after more than a year of mediation and requires approval from U.S. District Judge Trina Thompson.
