HBO has begun work on a film adaptation of the novel Dark Places. Gillian Flynn, known for her novel Vanished, will serve as writer, producer and showrunner for the project. Brett Johnson, known for his work on “Dannemora Prison Break,” and Gurrin Gardner are serving as co-writers on the project.
