Approximately 16 people have died in countries across Europe that have been hit by Hurricane Eunice in the past two days. The hurricane proved to be one of the most powerful natural disasters of its kind in Europe in the past thirty years. Millions of homes were temporarily without electricity, trains and other public transport stopped in many regions.
