Ecuador’s president has ordered the “neutralisation” of criminal gangs after days of violence culminating in an attack on a TV studio. Armed masked men stormed the live studio of TC public television station during a broadcast, forcing staff to the floor. Police made 13 arrests after the attack, leaving two staff members injured.
