India faces a summer water crisis
India’s major reservoirs have reached their lowest levels in five years in March, indicating a possible reduction in the availability of drinking water and electricity this summer. The 150 reservoirs controlled by the federal government were filled to only 40% of their capacity last week, according to official data.
