Indonesian documents reveal events leading to cough syrup deaths
Indonesian court documents have for the first time revealed the chain of events that led to the use of toxic ingredients in cough syrup, one of the products blamed for the deaths of more than 200 children in the country last year. According to the court ruling, the seeds of the tragedy were sown during a global shortage of quality propylene glycol.
