Intel signs Microsoft as a foundry customer

Intel said Wednesday that Microsoft plans to use its services to produce a dedicated computing chip and that the company expects to meet an internal deadline in 2025 and overtake its biggest rival, Taiwan Semiconductor Co. in advanced chip manufacturing.
