The Israeli military said it raided Hamas militants at al-Shifa hospital on Wednesday, urging them to surrender, with thousands of Palestinian civilians still sheltering in the Gaza Strip’s largest hospital. Dr Munir al-Bursh, director general of Gaza’s health ministry, told Al Jazeera TV that Israeli forces raided the western part of the medical complex.
