Italy pledges 100 million euros for COP28 climate damages
Italy will contribute €100 million to a new fund to help poor countries cope with “loss and damage” due to climate change, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said, adding that it will invest 70% of its €4.2 billion Climate Fund in Africa.
