Japan’s Rakuten has issued $1.8bn in dollar-denominated three-year senior bonds
Japanese e-commerce conglomerate Rakuten Group said on Wednesday it will issue $1.8bn of three-year US dollar-denominated senior notes with an interest rate of 11.25%. The fundraising will allow Rakuten to fully redeem its 10.25% senior notes and 3.546% senior notes due 2024, which have a total principal amount of $1.75bn.
