Magnitude 5.5 earthquake shakes North Sumatra
A 5.5-magnitude earthquake has struck off northern Sumatra in Indonesia, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said. The earthquake had a depth of 60 km. The EMSC revised the magnitude after first reporting the quake as magnitude 6.0.
