Matthew Perry honoured at Emmys with touching rendition of “Friends” theme song

Matthew Perry received an emotional tribute during the In Memoriam segment of the 2023 Emmys. Pop singer Charlie Puth and singer-songwriter duo The War and Treaty performed during the segment, doing a stripped-down version of the “Friends” theme song (“I’ll Be There for You” by The Rembrandts).
