McKinsey to pay $230 million in compensation for opioids in the US
Consulting firm McKinsey & Co has agreed to pay $230 million to settle lawsuits by hundreds of local governments and school districts in the US alleging it triggered the opioid addiction epidemic by working for bankrupt oxycontin maker Purdue Pharma and other pharmaceutical companies.
