Methane from tropical wetlands is rising
The world’s tropical wetlands are releasing more methane than ever before, an alarming sign that global climate targets are getting further away from being met. A massive increase in wetland methane could increase pressure on governments to make deeper cuts in their fossil fuel and agricultural industries.
