Microsoft said a Russian state-sponsored group hacked into its corporate systems on 12 January. The Russian group was able to access a “very small percentage” of Microsoft’s corporate email accounts, including members of its senior management and employees responsible for cybersecurity, legal affairs and other functions, the company said.
