Microsoft, OpenAI face new lawsuit from authors over AI training

OpenAI and Microsoft were sued in Manhattan federal court by a pair of non-fiction authors who claim the companies misused their works to train the artificial intelligence models that underpin ChatGPT and other AI-based services.
