Nepal closes schools after heavy rains kill 100 people
Nepal closed schools for three days after landslides and floods triggered by two days of heavy rains in the Himalayan country killed 100 people and 67 were missing, officials said Sunday. The flooding paralysed traffic and normal life in the Kathmandu Valley, where 37 deaths have been reported in the region of 4 million people and the capital.
