Netflix raises prices and gains subscribers despite strikes
Netflix on Wednesday raised subscription prices for some streaming plans in the U.S., U.K. and France as it crushed expectations for new customers, sending its shares up 13%. LSEG said nearly 9 million subscribers joined Netflix worldwide in the third quarter, beating Wall Street analysts’ forecast of 6 million.
