New Zealand backs Australian Robinson to head World Rugby
The New Zealand Rugby Federation backed Australian Brett Robinson in his bid to succeed Bill Beaumont as chairman of World Rugby’s global governing body in next month’s election. Former Wallaby Robinson, nominated by Australia and backed by England, will meet former France captain Abdelatif Benazzi and Italian academy player Andrea Rinaldo at the World Rugby Board meeting in Dublin on 14 November.
