Novo Nordisk said the cardioprotective benefits of its anti-obesity treatment Wegovy are due to more than just weight loss. Wegovy helps patients lose an average of 15% of their weight and also reduces the incidence of myocardial infarction, stroke or death from heart disease by 20%.
