OpenAI and Jony Ive are in talks to raise $1bn from SoftBank

ChatGPT maker OpenAI is in talks with former Apple designer Jony Ive and SoftBank’s Masayoshi Son to create an “artificial intelligence iPhone”, helped by more than $1 billion in funding from the Japanese conglomerate.
